Make Ready Technician - South Shore

ResProp Management helps people find apartment homes and builds communities. The Make Ready Technician will be responsible for ensuring the property is clean and safe, responding to work orders, and preparing vacant apartments for new residents.

Responsibilities

Driving property performance by performing any and all work that produces clean, safe, and attractive common areas, including: pools, laundry, clubhouses, parking lots, etc
Driving resident satisfaction by responding to and completing work orders timely in a quality manner
Coordinating with the Maintenance Supervisor and team to prioritize tasks throughout the day
Providing excellent customer service when interacting with residents, guests, and vendors
Maintaining property value by performing preventative maintenance throughout the property
Ensuring Resident satisfaction by preparing vacant apartments for move-in
Ensuring a safe work environment by identifying any issues regarding safety, hazardous conditions or maintenance needs on the property and correcting them and/or reporting them to the Maintenance Supervisor
Maintaining and repairing critical building and site systems
Using software applications to track work and personal performance
Be a part of a team handling a variety of tasks in an always developing environment

Qualification

General maintenance experienceCertified Pool Operator (CPO)EPA certificationTrade skillsCustomer servicePhysical staminaTeam collaboration

Required

At least 1 year of general maintenance/general repair experience, preferably in the multifamily or related industry
Certified Pool Operator (CPO)
EPA Type I, Type II or Universal certification strongly preferred
Trade skills including but not limited to plumbing, electrical, HVAC, drywall, framing, painting, roofing, cabinetry, pools, appliance, etc
Must have own hand tools
Must live within 30 minutes of community
Must be willing to work a varied schedule including weekends and holidays
Must have dependable transportation and be able to accommodate a rotating on-call schedule
Must be able to perform physical requirements of the job such as lifting, carrying, pushing or pulling objects up to 50 pounds
Applicants will be required to pass a background check, and reference check prior to their first day to verify their employment eligibility

Preferred

EPA Type I, Type II or Universal certification strongly preferred
Trade Licensing preferred but not required
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is preferred but not required
