The role involves managing donor relationships, coordinating fundraising events, and developing community partnerships to meet revenue goals.

Responsibilities

Plan, execute, and attend all Dorchester Paws events (with the exception of adoption events coordinated through our FOH team)

Cultivate a percentage of sales fundraisers with new business partners

Assist with the planning of signature events, including solicitation of event sponsorships

Be aware of annual and monthly revenue goals/needs for events

Develop partnerships within the community to increase fundraising goals

Work as the main point of contact for all offsite events (excluding adoption events)

Assist with outward solicitation within the community, including finding new vendors and building relationships. Additional responsibilities relating to solicitation at the discretion of the Executive Director and Director of Development & Marketing

Research effective sales strategies with additional emphasis on training and career growth
