Responsibilities
Conduct balance sheet reviews, financial statement reviews, cash flow forecasting, and ad hoc financial analyses to support institutional decision-making
Monitor financial trends and patterns to identify risks and opportunities
Develop actionable insights to support operational and financial goals
Support performance monitoring aligned with strategic plan goals and key performance indicators
Build financial models to predict financial and operational outcomes of business decisions
Coordinate financial reporting and budget functions, including cost and cash flow analyses
Develop and manage annual budgets and operational forecasts
Develop templates, reports, timelines, and coordinate meetings for key financial planning processes with key stakeholders
Contribute to the identification and rationalization of key performance indicators
Contribute to the development of university-wide policies and procedures
Build and maintain partnerships with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment and collaboration across financial and operational functions
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in an appropriate area and four years of relevant experience
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, accounting, or a related field; or a bachelor's degree in an appropriate area of specialization with 4 years of experience in financial planning, budgeting and reporting
Demonstrated experience with financial data, reporting and supporting strategic decision-making
Strong analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills with a focus on continuous improvement
