Instructional Designer
Corps Team is a staffing agency working with a large financial services company, seeking an experienced Learning Consultant for an 11-month contract assignment. The Learning Consultant will partner with business leaders to assess learning needs and design effective learning solutions that align with strategic priorities and operational excellence.
Responsibilities
Assess learning needs and design effective, scalable learning solutions that support strategic priorities, associate development, and operational excellence
Serve as a trusted advisor, translating business challenges into measurable learning outcomes through innovative, data-driven solutions
Consult with business leaders to assess learning needs and performance gaps
Translate business requirements into effective learning solutions
Collaborate cross-functionally with multiple stakeholders
Measure learning effectiveness and evaluate programs for continuous improvement
Qualification
Required
Must currently live within a reasonable commute of Frisco, TX or Charlotte, NC
Instructional Design & Learning Experience Design (LXD)
Learning Needs Analysis & Performance Consulting
Designing end-to-end learning solutions (design-focused; not delivery-heavy)
Storyboarding, learning architecture, and content design
ADDIE / SAM methodologies
Blended learning design (digital, instructor-led, and performance support)
Articulate Storyline
Evolve
Vyond
Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop, Audition, InDesign, Animate)
SCORM packaging and LMS publishing
Interactive eLearning development
Video-based learning design
Microlearning and job aids
UX-informed learning design
Consults with business leaders to assess learning needs and performance gaps
Translates business requirements into effective learning solutions
Collaborates cross-functionally with multiple stakeholders
Learning effectiveness measurement and evaluation
Data-driven improvement of learning programs
Strong written and verbal communication skills
High attention to detail and quality standards
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
Experience mentoring or supporting junior team members
3+ years of experience in instructional design, learning experience design, or learning consulting
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in Education, Instructional Design, Learning & Development, or a related field
5+ years of experience with a strong emphasis on learning design and development
Experience designing digital learning solutions in a corporate or enterprise environment
Captivate (preferred, not required)
