Cuyahoga Community College is seeking to hire Tutors for multiple locations throughout the county to provide basic skills, academic and/or literacy support to K - 12 youth and adults in the community. Tutors will demonstrate excellent communication, time management, and teamwork skills while working with the community in an urban setting.

Provide basic skills, academic and/or literacy support to K - 12 youth and adults in the community

Demonstrate excellent communication skills

Demonstrate time management skills

Demonstrate teamwork skills

Demonstrate conflict/behavior management skills

Be reliable and have a desire to work with youth, teens, and/or adults in an urban setting

Maintain a GPA of 2.0

Consistently maintain 6 credit hours each semester

Maintain satisfactory academic progress

Adhere to college’s confidentiality policy

Successfully pass background/drug screening

Successfully complete AAI Solutions Online Training

Have experience working with children

Make at least a 2 semester commitment to the program

Demonstrate willingness and ability to work with the community

Other duties as assigned
