Responsibilities
Design and implement software that connects embedded hardware to external platforms via REST APIs, SDKs, and messaging systems
Develop and maintain device communication layers (e.g., hardware abstraction layers, middleware, protocol adapters)
Integrate hardware systems with cloud services, dashboards, and third-party software
Build and maintain secure, scalable APIs
Work with SDKs provided by hardware vendors
Write clean, well-documented, and testable code
Support debugging and troubleshooting across hardware and software boundaries
Qualification
Required
3+ years of experience in software engineering, robotics, or hardware-integrated systems
Hands-on experience connecting physical devices or robots to external software systems
Strong experience with APIs
Experience working with SDKs
Understanding of networking concepts, device communication protocols, and data serialization
Familiarity with Linux-based systems and embedded environments
Preferred
Experience with robotics frameworks
Experience with edge computing
Experience with real-time systems or event-driven architectures
Familiarity with hardware interfaces
Experience deploying software to production hardware environments
