Responsibilities
Utilize tools to analyze, query and manipulate data according to defined business rules and procedures
Performs QC tests (system and visual) to verify data integrity
Assist in correcting minor data quality errors
Documents and works to resolve basic problems
May update/maintain database with reviewed and corrected data
Communicate issues to programmers to resolve data quality issues
Updates logs, tracks user requests, fulfills basic requests
Qualification
Required
Knowledge of required tools to query and manipulate data in varying file formats
Knowledge of all types of data formats and file structures
Ability to follow data quality standards, metrics and audit procedures
Generally conveys technical issues/problems to programmers
Strong detail orientation
Tenacity for solving detailed issues
Knowledge of MS Word and Excel to create/update documents and spreadsheets containing basic formulas and formatting
High School diploma or equivalent
Typically has 1-3 years of directly related experience
