Responsibilities
Lead and deliver transportation design projects, including highway reconstruction, roadway safety, intersection improvements, and pedestrian facilities
Manage the development of high-quality transportation design documents from concept through final submission
Direct, manage, and mentor a team of engineers within the highway and transportation group
Own project management responsibilities including schedules, budgets, staffing, and delivery performance
Serve as a primary point of contact for clients and public agencies
Support business development, proposal preparation, and pursuit strategy alongside regional and department leadership
Represent the organization at industry events, conferences, and client meeting
Qualification
Required
10+ years of transportation engineering experience
Professional Engineer (PE) license required
Proven ability to deliver transportation improvement projects for local, county, and state agencies
Strong knowledge of local and national transportation design standards
Working understanding of traffic engineering principles
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project
Preferred
NJDOT project experience strongly preferred
