Test Lab Supervisor - 2nd Shift

Responsibilities

Work with Engineering Liaison to create a daily schedule and assign operators accordingly to meet it
Work with Quality and Test Lab I&F to improve processes within the cell to improve efficiency/eliminate rework
Work with 1st and 2nd shift supervisors on priorities and needs
Interface with Engineering to address testing needs and maintain schedules
Support Macro Plan activities throughout the year
Direct the activities of operators, including training, discipline, safety, communications, and opportunity resolution
Create a culture of ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement
Partner with CORE / CI to support the site transformation journey
Determine / monitor / improve KPI’s
Positively affect KPI change, including, but not limited to: Output, Hours, On Time Delivery, Housekeeping and 5 S, Productivity / Efficiency / Utilization, Safety (First Aid, recordables, lost time), Escapes

Required

Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience
1 or more years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably aerospace
1 or more years of experience in Operations related Management roles (hands on supervision)
Strong Core Values including Ethical Behavior, Customer Focused Improvement, Accountability & Teamwork, Openness & Trust
Strong organizational, presentation and communication skills
Strong knowledge of Microsoft office products

SAP knowledge
Lean Manufacturing Experience
Direct working experience of the Troy W&B Site / Products
