The Vice President of Business Development will be responsible for driving the company's expansion strategy in North America, leading a high-performing team, and establishing strategic partnerships.

Responsibilities
Define and lead the execution of the business expansion roadmap in the US market, setting long-term revenue targets, market share metrics, and growth strategies
Responsible for recruiting, training, and mentoring the business development and sales teams; establishing performance evaluation systems (KPIs/OKRs); and building a highly effective and cohesive localized team
Establish and deepen top-tier strategic alliances with key industry players (including banking institutions, regulatory agencies, payment networks, and technology partners) to build a competitive moat for the company
Personally lead high-risk, high-value business negotiations, resolve complex business challenges, and ensure mutually beneficial partnerships
Work closely with the compliance and legal teams to ensure all business development activities remain compliant in the ever-changing regulatory environment; provide feedback to the product team on market strategy needs and guide product iteration
Represent Newton Crypto–LA at industry summits, forums, and high-level roundtables to enhance the brand's influence and credibility in the North American market
Build the infrastructure, CRM system, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) for business expansion from scratch, ensuring business scalability
Qualification
Required
Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with experience building or scaling teams from scratch
Fluent English: Minimum C1 level or native speaker level (this position requires representing the company in high-level public presentations and business negotiations)
Strong strategic thinking ability, capable of translating vague market opportunities into concrete business plans
Ability to handle complex stakeholder relationships and make critical decisions in fast-paced, high-pressure environments
A bachelor's degree in business, finance, economics, or a related STEM field, with over 20 years of overall professional work experience, including at least 20 years of team management and strategic leadership experience
Or An MBA or a master's degree in a related field, with at least 20 years of relevant strategic management and business leadership experience
Preferred
Strategic management experience in regulated industries (e.g., financial services, healthcare, insurance) or high-growth technology companies (SaaS/Fintech)
No longer specific industry experience required; we value business acumen and leadership potential, and will provide necessary industry knowledge training
