THE ARC OF SOUTHINGTON is a residential group home providing services to intellectually disabled adults. They are seeking a Temporary Residential Program Manager to oversee staff and residents, ensuring the implementation of individual support plans and compliance with policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

Oversees all staff and residents in a residential group home

Supervise the direct support professionals

Supervise the planning and implementation of all aspects of individual support plans, including formal behavior support plans, teaching strategies, protocols, etc. to meet the needs and preferences of the individual

Supervise and schedule staff to work to assure adequate support for individual per the plans of those living in the home. Conduct performance evaluations, provide opportunities for career growth, conduct consultations and disciplinary meetings as necessary

Ability and qualifications to train staff

Implement The Arc of Southington policies and procedures as well as agency systems and operations

Oversee and be accountable for the program budgets and the individuals’ personal finances

Ensure that all necessary medical information is documented and that all follow through occurs

Carry an on-call cell phone and have the ability to return all phone calls

Maintain the home and all records per licensing/quality assurance regulations
