Responsibilities
Gather, analyze, and interpret diverse data sets to solve a variety of business problems, predict behaviors, and identify causal relationships and triggers
Apply advanced statistical and modeling techniques to quantify data variance, support decision-making, and validate predictive models (e.g., linear/logistic regression, time series analysis)
Develop business cases and complex models using big data analytics platforms to support process integration and recommend improvements to processes, financials, and business models
Create impactful dashboards, reports, and visualizations to communicate findings
Advise business partners on data patterns and relationships, providing strategic recommendations
Translate complex analytics into clear, compelling stories for leadership and stakeholders
Lead critical, high-impact analytics projects, mentor other analysts, and collaborate with cross-functional business partners
Qualification
Required
Master's degree (MS/MA) preferred from an accredited university in a quantitative field such as Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, or Physics
7+ years of relevant experience required
Proficiency with relational databases (e.g., Oracle, MySQL) and data warehouse solutions (e.g., Snowflake, Databricks Delta Lake) is essential
Apply advanced statistical and modeling techniques to quantify data variance, support decision-making, and validate predictive models (e.g., linear/logistic regression, time series analysis)
Use tools such as Tableau, Palantir, Power BI (AI Insights), Databricks, AWS, Azure, Synapse, and H2O Driverless AI
Develop business cases and complex models using big data analytics platforms to support process integration and recommend improvements to processes, financials, and business models
Create impactful dashboards, reports, and visualizations to communicate findings
Lead critical, high-impact analytics projects, mentor other analysts, and collaborate with cross-functional business partners
Operate with minimal oversight, frequently consulting senior leadership and influencing executive decisions
