Manager Sales Account - Outside Sales Northern CA

Responsibilities

Includes achieving sales volume, executing pricing strategies, managing product mix sold; being a self-starter with the ability to influence key decision makers internally and externally; developing and maintaining relationships with customers and distributors; executing multiple business strategies; training and educating broker partner reps; being a steward of Tyson Foods Core Values & RIGHT Behaviors and taking responsibility for professional development
Sales Excellence: Demonstrate outstanding selling, closing, & presentation skills; articulate the unique value proposition of Tyson products; plan, execute, & lead effective meetings to drive engagement; take ownership of customer accounts & drive growth initiatives; identify opportunities for new business development and to strategically grow existing accounts
Relationship Building: Build strong customer relationships; collaborate effectively with internal teams to deliver solutions for the customer & business; utilize resources & partnerships to achieve goals; lead through influence
Innovation: Drive innovation & creative solutions to meet the needs of the customer & business; proactively identify opportunities & solutions to expand market share or volume
Product and Market Knowledge: Deep understanding of our product portfolio; understanding of market trends; understanding of the customer’s business & competitive landscape; ability to analyze data & make informed decisions

Required

Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
Minimum 5 years outside sales experience
Beef and/or Pork experience required

Demonstrated agility & ability to adapt to dynamic business needs
Inquisitive & solution-oriented
Ability to multi-task
Experience with Microsoft Office products
15-20% travel
