Mathnasium of Newton is hiring a Paid Education Leadership Intern to support daily operations, student instruction, and team leadership at our math learning center. This role is ideal for recent college graduates or soon-to-be graduates seeking entry-level experience in education, leadership, youth development, or academic program management.

Responsibilities

Work directly with students in grades 1–12 using Mathnasium’s teaching methods
Learn and apply Mathnasium curriculum and instructional strategies
Support and coach instructors during instructional sessions
Communicate with parents regarding student progress and goals
Assist with scheduling, organization, and daily center operations
Help maintain a positive, professional, and welcoming learning environment

Required

Bachelor's degree completed or in progress (all majors welcome)
Interest in education, leadership, or youth development
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Experience working with children or students (tutoring, camps, coaching, mentoring, babysitting, classrooms, etc.)
Comfortable with math through the high school level
Organized, reliable, and eager to learn
All applicants must pass a math literacy assessment, background check, and provide work authorization
