Responsibilities

Prepare complex federal and state tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, and trusts
Review tax returns prepared by staff members, providing feedback, training, and technical guidance
Conduct tax planning for clients, identifying opportunities and strategies to minimize liabilities
Perform in-depth tax research and draft clear, concise technical memos and recommendations
Communicate proactively with clients regarding tax matters, deadlines, and planning opportunities
Collaborate with team members to ensure consistent application of firm procedures and best practices
Work efficiently in a paperless, technology-driven environment

Qualification

Active CPA licenseTax preparation experienceFederal tax laws knowledgeTax research tools proficiencyManage prioritiesCommunication skillsOrganizational skillsProblem-solving skills

Required

Active CPA license required
5+ years of recent public accounting tax experience with 2 years review experience
Strong technical knowledge of federal and multi-state tax laws
Demonstrated experience preparing and reviewing complex tax returns
Proficiency with tax research tools and paperless workflow systems
Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
