The role involves ensuring documentation compliance, preparing project reports, and supporting project close-out efforts among other responsibilities.

Responsibilities
Ensure all required documentation is received from contractors in accordance with contract requirements and project specifications
Prepare and maintain project status and progress reports, ensuring timely updates to stakeholders
Coordinate and track project plans, drawings, and revisions
Verify that Change Order and Time & Material work is properly documented in Daily Inspector’s Reports
Prepare and/or review change orders for accuracy, completeness, and contract compliance
Attend construction progress meetings and prepares meeting minutes and monthly reports as required
Support oversight of sub-consultant teams through strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
Assist the Resident Engineer in monitoring construction schedules and identifying potential delays
Support project close-out efforts, including preparation of As-Built drawings, final documentation, and resolution of outstanding claims or issues
Perform other related duties as required to support successful project delivery
Qualification
Required
Must possess BS Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Technology or an acceptable field
A minimum of 5 years of progressive construction experience; experience as an Office Engineer on infrastructure projects preferred
Must have a fundamental understanding of contracts and familiarity with codes and laws governing construction
Must possess the ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications and identify discrepancies or conflicts within documents
Excellent organization, interpersonal, and oral and written communication skills
Must be detail oriented and have the ability to multi-task
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Primavera, or related construction software
Requires a valid, clean driver's license and personal vehicle to travel to and within project sites as needed
Preferred
Experience as an Office Engineer on infrastructure projects preferred
