Responsibilities
Managing all data and reporting requests from proposal through completion using project management skills, tools and methodology
Analysis of health care metrics ranging from MIPS & HEDIS measures to internal process and outcome population health metrics
Work in conjunction with the Director of Population Health Operations & Analytics, Business and Clinical Intelligence, EPIC Clinical Applications
Support Population Health departments as a subject matter expert
Propose, identify, analyze, and validate data used to drive performance improvement
Create reporting to tell a story to a variety of audiences
Provide technical/subject matter expertise system-wide regarding healthcare quality metrics and analytics
Understand the health of the populations of patients for which they provide services
Comprehend sophisticated clinical and financial business process, data quality issues, data use and other areas of special focus for data being analyzed
Interact with executive management, physicians, department leaders, and clinical staff to provide the data and analyses necessary for effective decision-making
Require an advanced information technology skillset, project management experience, and the ability to work independently with minimal oversight
Qualification
Required
Master's Degree in computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Healthcare Information Technology, or related fields
Five (5) or more years of job-related experience
2 or more years of leadership experience
Candidates must reside in Georgia, Texas, Tennessee, North Carolina, Florida, South Carolina, Michigan, or Colorado
