Responsibilities

Design and develop solutions that are scalable, highly available, fault tolerant and easily maintainable

Develop data pipelines, extracting and transforming data, conducting analyses, developing insights, and delivering actionable recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner

Design and develop high quality, scalable data assets that support contemporary BI tools and advanced analytics

Prototype high impact innovations, catering to changing business needs, by leveraging Cloud and Big Data technologies

Deliver business solutions using state of the art technical frameworks, web and database technologies

Proactively address technical issues and risks that could impact project schedule and/or integrity of the application environment

Work closely with stakeholders to design and implement solutions that align with the business needs and are consistent with the architectural vision

Required

Bachelor's degree

4+ years of work experience in IT systems analysis and application program development

4+ years ETL/ELT, Data Integration, Big Data experience building data pipelines and processing data through the data processing pipelines for variety of data sets

Hands on development with Python developments support complex business solutions

Experience designing and integrating quality data assets for optimal use in BI tools like Tableau, expertise in building scalable distributed data processing solutions with Hadoop, HBase, Scoop, Hive and developing data pipelines using Streams, Sqoop and map reduce. Experience migration of legacy ETL solutions to Hadoop

Understanding of AWS core services such as S3, RDS, Lambda, API Gateway, ECS, Glue, IAM, KMS, SNS, SQS

Experience with continuous integration and DevOps methodologies, best practices and tools such as Git, Jenkins, Nexus, Rally, Jira, etc

Experienced in Agile Scrum and Kanban Methodologies

Requires excellent business communication skills, analytical ability, strong judgment and management skills, and the ability to work effectively with Business and IT management and staff
