Responsibilities

Assist students, faculty, and staff in resolving technical issues
Maintain computer systems
Ensure smooth operation of IT services
Troubleshoot hardware and software issues
Respond to support tickets
Set up equipment
Assist with IT-related inquiries
Maintain documentation of support activities
Coordinate with the IT department to improve system performance

Required

Strong troubleshooting skills for hardware, software, and technical systems
Experience with operating systems, networks, and computer maintenance
Familiarity with support ticketing systems and IT helpdesk tools
Excellent customer support skills, communication abilities, and a problem-solving mindset
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a diverse environment

Preferred

Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+, ITIL, or equivalent are a plus
Prior experience in a helpdesk role or a technical support environment is beneficial
Associate's degree in Information Technology or a related field preferred, or equivalent experience
