Responsibilities

Drive the execution and prioritization of maintenance work to improve equipment uptime and reliability
Act as the shift manager directing maintenance teams to ensure safe and compliant work execution on nights and weekends
Provide hands-on maintenance support for complex troubleshooting and repairs of equipment
Analyze maintenance performance and work orders to identify trends and reduce reactive work
Implement safe work controls in accordance with OSHA, state, local, and site safety regulations
Support safety programs (e.g., LOTO, HECP) and participate in divisional audits
Lead investigations for equipment failures, ensuring thorough documentation and corrective actions
Collaborate with Operations, Technology, and Quality teams to identify root causes and implement improvements
Mentor and collaborate with skilled craft personnel to enhance team capabilities
Identify and implement process improvement projects focused on equipment uptime, cost minimization, and maintaining process consistency

Required

Bachelor's degree in engineering (mechanical, chemical, or similar) with two years of experience in manufacturing or maintenance environments
Experience troubleshooting and resolving equipment failures
Proficient in reading and understanding P&ID and schematic wiring diagrams
Experience implementing OSHA governed high-risk work permit standards
Strong planning, scheduling, and time management skills
Good oral and written communication skills
