Responsibilities
Develop, maintain, and improve operator systems for Compact Track Loaders (CTL) and Skid Steer Loaders (SSL)
Lead and manage Current Product Improvement (CPI) projects using CPI tools and Six Sigma methodologies
Serve as the primary point of contact for all CPI activities within the operator station team
Lead cross-functional and global teams to deliver product quality and performance improvements
Support Built-in-Quality (BIQ) initiatives and drive continuous quality enhancement
Identify and execute cost-reduction opportunities within the operator systems scope
Develop technical solutions, conduct design reviews, and execute validation and verification plans
Create, release, and maintain engineering drawings and design documentation
Release and implement design updates and product improvements, ensuring adherence to implementation timelines
Collaborate with global engineering teams, suppliers, manufacturing engineering, and process partners to meet quality, customer, and business requirements
Support production by addressing manufacturing and assembly issues in collaboration with Manufacturing Engineering, Assembly Technicians, and Quality teams
Perform ongoing current product maintenance and issue resolution
Monitor and report CPI project progress and outcomes
Maintain a strong focus on safety, quality, and customer requirements while working effectively in a local and global team environment
Qualification
Required
6-8 years engineering experience minimum
BS in Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering Technology
Strong analytical capability with excellent problem-solving skills
Hands-on experience applying Six Sigma methodologies and tools
Proven project management skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects
Proficiency in data analytics to support decision-making and continuous improvement initiatives
Experience with stamping, fabrication, and non-metallic component design and manufacturing processes
Proficient in Creo and Teamcenter for design and product data management
Solid understanding and application of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
Experience performing tolerance stack-up analyses
Working knowledge of Finite Element Analysis (FEA) techniques
