Experience with firewall technologies and architectures, including: Stateful inspection, Next-generation firewalls (NGFW), Layer 7 (L7) filtering

Proficiency with security protocols (IPSec, SSL/TLS)

Skilled in using network monitoring and analysis tools (e.g., Wireshark)

Experience with intrusion detection and prevention systems (IDS/IPS)

Command line interface (CLI) proficiency

Familiarity with log analysis and SIEM tools

Solid understanding of core cybersecurity principles

Awareness of threat intelligence, common attack vectors, and mitigation strategies

Experience with risk assessment and vulnerability management

Familiarity with incident response procedures and best practices

Palo Alto Networks expertise

Check Point expertise

VMware NSX-T expertise

Zscaler expertise

Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities

Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

Effective verbal and written communication skills
