Regional Director

Responsibilities

Participate as a member of the team - fostering an environment that supports individuals in pursuit of their hopes, dreams, and personal outcomes
Oversee the operations of multiple services and ensure quality services are delivered to the individuals we support
Be able to support and maintain a safe and secure environment, 24/7, 365
Oversee the completion of all duties assigned to the Designated Coordinator per 245D requirements
Have the skills and abilities necessary to develop effective support plans and to design and use data systems to measure effectiveness of services and supports
Partner with Behavioral Analysts, Autism Specialists, Therapists, and medical professionals
Provide structured continuity
Provide guidance, encouragement, and support for the person supported to develop and implement a personal life plan that will result in reaching personal goals, development, increased strengths, skills, and coping abilities

Required

Bachelor's degree in a field related to Human Services, and a minimum of one year of full-time work experience providing direct care services to persons with disabilities and/or persons age 65 and older, OR
Associate's degree in a field related to Human Services, and a minimum of two years of full-time work experience providing direct care services to persons with disabilities and/or persons age 65 and older, OR
Diploma in a field related to Human Services from an accredited postsecondary institution and a minimum of three years of full-time work experience providing direct care services to persons with disabilities and/or persons age 65 and older, OR
Minimum of 50 hours of education and training related to Human Services and disabilities and four years of full-time work experience providing direct care services to persons with disabilities and/or persons age 65 and older under the supervision of a staff person who meets the qualifications identified in the above clauses
Two-three years of supervisory experience as well as team building and leadership
Experience working with individuals that display significant behavioral and/or medical supports
Driver's license is required
CPR certificate (when required), First Aid and Medication Administration training is also required but can be obtained after hire
Bureau of Criminal Affairs (BCA) clearance is required
Motor Vehicle Check (MVR) with a satisfactory driving record required
