IT Specialist (INFOSEC)
DLA Careers is seeking an IT Specialist (INFOSEC) to serve as a Subject Matter Expert on Cyber Security technologies. The role involves providing Tier 3 support for DLA Cybersecurity Technology and managing accounts and network rights on various networks.

Responsibilities
Serves as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on Cyber Security technologies for a group of Information Technology (IT) Specialists engaged in providing the planning, development
Implementation, execution, and management of production activities to support the DLA Cybersecurity Technology mission
Provides Tier 3 DLA Enterprise level support for DLA Cybersecurity Technology for both the Non-secure Internet Protocol Router Network (NIPRNET) and the Secure Internet Protocol Router Network (SIPRNET)
Provides status reports and presents technical briefings as required
Provides technical guidance, analysis, advice, and troubleshooting/ problem resolution on a wide range of operational problems involving enterprise Cybersecurity IT
Services that impact DLA Enterprise operations and security
Isolates, identifies, analyzes, evaluates and resolves hardware, software and/or communications problems as they relate to DLA Cyber Security Tools
Manages accounts, network rights, and access to systems and equipment for DLA Cybersecurity Technology on the DLA Non-Classified Internet Protocol Router Network (NIPRNET) and where applicable on the Secret Internet Protocol Router Network (SIPRNET)
Participates on teams of government and contractor IT Specialists both within the organization and outside the organization involved in problem resolution
Performs acquisition project planning and execution

Tour of Duty: Set Schedule
Security Requirements: Critical Sensitive, Top Secret
Appointment is subject to the completion of a favorable suitability or fitness determination, where reciprocity cannot be applied; unfavorably adjudicated background checks will be grounds for removal
Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA): Exempt
Selective Service Requirement: Males born after 12-31-59 must be registered or exempt from Selective Service

Selectees are required to have a REAL ID or other acceptable identification documents to access certain federal facilities
Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience that equipped you with the particular competencies to successfully perform the duties of the position, and is directly in or related to this position
To qualify at the GS-13 level, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level or equivalent under other pay systems in the Federal service, military or private sector
Creditable specialized experience includes: Provides technical guidance, analysis, advice, and troubleshooting/ problem resolution on a wide range of operational problems involving enterprise Cybersecurity IT services that impact Enterprise operations and security
Isolates, identifies, analyzes, evaluates and resolves hardware, software and/or communications problems as they relate to Cyber Security Tools
Participates in planning, designing, conducting, and evaluating the results of feasibility, hardware/software performance studies, and environmental tests of next generation of assigned products for Enterprise implementation
