Responsibilities

Lead the strategic direction, vision, and growth of the DFW Land Development practice

Cultivate trusted relationships with North Texas developers, landowners, municipalities, and reviewing agencies

Proactively identify new business opportunities and lead pursuit strategies for major development projects

Oversee execution of large-scale, multi-disciplinary land development projects with strong project controls and financial performance

Ensure predictable project outcomes through effective scheduling, budgeting, and risk management

Recruit, hire, and develop high-performing teams to support long-term practice growth

Mentor staff and promote a collaborative, learning-focused environment that supports career development

Drive operational excellence, resource planning, and compliance with company standards and industry regulations

Qualification

Required

Professional Engineer (PE) license required

12–20+ years of progressive experience in land development engineering

Proven leadership delivering large-scale residential, commercial, and mixed-use projects

Strong credibility with North Texas developers, municipalities, and regulatory agencies

Demonstrated ability to manage multi-disciplinary teams and complex project portfolios

Experience in business development and growing a regional practice

Excellent communication, leadership presence, and emotional intelligence
