Responsibilities
Represent employers in a broad range of labor and employment litigation matters
Handle expedited proceedings, including temporary restraining orders and temporary injunctions
Litigate trade secret misappropriation and non-compete disputes
Work on wage and hour class and collective actions, as well as single-plaintiff employment litigation
Draft pleadings, motions, and other court filings; conduct legal research; and manage discovery
Assist with trial preparation in both state and federal courts
Participate in settlement conferences and negotiations
Qualification
Required
JD from an ABA-accredited law school
Active and good-standing membership in the Texas Bar
Approximately 2 years of labor & employment litigation experience
Experience with motion practice and discovery required
Preferred
Trial preparation experience and exposure to settlement negotiations
Spanish fluency
