Responsibilities
Revise existing PSAT and SHSAT questions for clarity, structure, and alignment with test specifications
Edit answer choices and distractors without changing the underlying skill being tested
Improve written explanations so they are precise, test-aligned, and student-clear
Follow defined skill targets, difficulty bands, and formatting rules
Work within a structured review and versioning process
Qualification
Required
Experience writing or editing standardized test items (SAT, PSAT, SHSAT, state tests, or similar)
Comfort working under strict constraints (time, format, difficulty, construct)
Strong editorial judgment, especially knowing what not to change
Ability to explain reasoning clearly and concisely
Preferred
Prior work with assessment vendors, test prep firms, or education publishers
Background in educational measurement or assessment design
Familiarity with middle-school or high-school admissions tests
