Responsibilities
Provide first-tier desktop support for both Windows and MacOS environments
Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware and software issues (e.g., monitor or hard drive failures, email and printing problems, network connectivity)
Set up new machines, operating systems, and application software for end users
Replace and configure peripherals (mice, keyboards, video/network cards)
Manage software installations
Assist users with resolving VPN and mail server connection issues
Asset lifecycle and inventory management
SmartDeploy image deployment
Data Center work Remote & Onsite Support
Offer timely support for both local and remote employees via phone, chat, or remote desktop tools
Provide on-call support as part of a rotation, including some nights and weekends
Set up and support office telephony, including new phone deployments and conference call configurations
Assist users with video conferencing tools (Zoom, Teams, etc.) and audiovisual display inputs for presentations
Qualification
Required
7+ years in a Help Desk or IT Support role, preferably in a fast-paced environment
Strong knowledge of Windows and MacOS support
Office 365 & OneDrive support
VPNs and basic networking
Active Directory & Azure AD
Excellent communication skills and a strong customer service orientation
Ability to learn quickly and troubleshoot with minimal supervision
Preferred
Microsoft HyperV
Jamf Pro for MacOS
Windows PowerShell scripting
Linux/Mac command line familiarity
Self-motivated
MFA/SSO support - OKTA
