Responsibilities
Responsible for performing specialized operational securities processing activities in support of the firm’s business lines
Input and maintain corporate action notifications and announcements
Receive, authenticate, enter, process, record, report, and reconcile corporate action instructions
Scrub announcements from market data vendors, company information sources, depositories, and agents
Input information into the Corporate Actions platform for income and mandatory actions
Identify complex corporate action events and communicate details to team members
Process class action suits
Manually enter client instructions into the Corporate Actions platform
Process agent confirmations and communicate updates to clients through the Corporate Actions platform
Communicate uninstructed positions to clients daily via written and verbal communication, including phone calls
Process client account profile requests related to corporate actions
Perform manual entry of payments into the Corporate Actions platform
Balance and reconcile positions related to corporate action activity
Reconcile receivables and payables to ensure accurate client cash projections
Identify problem items and escalate issues as needed
Communicate professionally and constructively to resolve issues in a timely and efficient manner
Collaborate with team members to ensure superior client service
Participate in client presentations and calls
Qualification
Required
BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience
Strong PC and systems skills
Ability to identify, escalate, and resolve issues
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Strong time management, organizational, and detail-oriented skills
Ability to multitask and work effectively in a team environment
Ability to process transactions accurately and meet deadlines
Ability to work under pressure and manage daily deliverables efficiently
