Cobalt Service Partners is a company that buys and builds leading access solutions businesses. They are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to manage accounting operations and ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance within one of their partner companies.

Responsibilities

Lead the monthly financial close, ensuring GAAP compliance for monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, and reconcile key balance sheet accounts

Support cash flow management, including billing accuracy, cost control, and net working capital oversight

Maintain internal controls and compliance, support external audits, and oversee AP/AR processes

Assist with budget preparation, variance analysis, and annual reforecasts, including project-level job costing and inventory/WIP management

Help implement and optimize accounting tools (QuickBooks, Sage, Inova) to improve financial processes, payroll, and reporting efficiency

Required

5+ years in general ledger accounting

Experience with QuickBooks and Sage Intacct; UKG or Inova a plus

Knowledge of % of completion accounting, inventory/WIP management, lease accounting, and GAAP entries

Proven ability to enhance financial processes, particularly in B2B field services

Accounting degree and/or CPA/CMA/CGMA preferred
