Responsibilities
Defend a variety of casualty cases, including wrongful death and survival actions, products liability, premises liability, dramshop, trucking and transportation, construction litigation, and other matters involving catastrophic personal injuries and/or property damage
Oversee the day-to-day aspects of these cases, including client meetings, reporting and investigation, discovery and motion practice, and taking and attending depositions, hearings, mediations and arbitrations and/or trials, with partner oversight and involvement
Qualification
Required
3+ years' experience in civil litigation
Working knowledge of state and federal civil procedure
Excellent advocacy and writing skills
Valid Texas BAR license
Preferred
Litigation experience, including taking and defending depositions
Drafting and arguing motions
Attending mediations
Trying civil cases
