Responsibilities
Design falsework for temporary structure support
Design temporary bridges for construction access
Design hydraulic systems for vertical / horizontal travel
Design cofferdams and other soil retention systems
Bridge analysis for construction equipment and demolition procedures
Bridge analysis for steel/concrete beam erection stability
Wood/steel formwork design for concrete slabs and walls
Analysis of lifting equipment (hoists and rigging)
Analysis and design of safety systems
Analysis for barge stability under construction equipment loading
Provide clear construction and shop drawings using CAD
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related studies
Must demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication
Must be highly organized
Must be able to work effectively as part of a team
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Preferred
Construction Engineering or Design experience preferred
