Advanced Analytics Associate Director
NP Digital is a global award-winning performance marketing agency. The Associate Director, Advanced Analytics is responsible for developing advanced analytics insights that drive client performance and contribute to agency growth by collaborating with marketing and data professionals.
Responsibilities
Report directly into the Senior Director, Data, Analytics & Insights to contribute advanced analytics solutions as part of NP Digital’s Data, Analytics and Insights team of specialized experts in measurement strategy, data visualization & dashboards, analytics (digital, marketing), and other data services
Consultant and collaborate with clients, managers and strategists across CRO, SEO, Content, Paid Media and other marketing experts for how best to incorporate advanced analytics in marketing strategy and execution
Own and execute advanced analytics initiatives such as causal inference, attribution modeling and analysis, experiment design, time series forecasting, target setting and evaluation, lead quality evaluation, and advanced analytics consultation that aligns with marketing efforts
Plan and conduct periodic advanced analytics analyses that drive marketing performance results and inform future strategies and tactics with consumer insight
Synthesize findings and present insights to executive stakeholders so that they quickly understand the deeper patterns, trends or impact of their cross-channel marketing across programs, products, and objectives
Leverage and extend our data technology stack, partners, and vendors to quickly and thoroughly address advanced analytics needed beyond our routine reporting and analysis
Identify data opportunities and gaps in data maturity, processes, and tools that can enhance and future-proof advanced insight capabilities and infrastructure including the use of AI and Generative AI
Establish standards on advanced analytics deliverables. Mentor and train the agency and clients on what advanced insights deliverables are available, their value to the business, and how to leverage them to drive performance marketing campaigns
Qualification
Required
Extensive years in a digital marketing agency setting with hands-on experience in advanced insights such as multi-touch attribution, time series forecasting, evaluation of lead quality, target setting, marketing mix modeling, experimental design
Experience leading and executing advanced insights projects for well-known, enterprise level brands that entail collaborating cross-functionally with marketers, business stakeholders, vendors, engineers, and data scientists
Business writing skills and visual communication to be able to report advanced insights to business stakeholders fitting different mediums: written reports with references, slides, and customized charts leveraging strong data story-telling principles and skills
Expertise with SQL, Python, R and Regex is required
Proficiency with SQL databases such as BigQuery
Expertise with MMM platforms or comparable opensource libraries
Expertise with MTA platforms or MTA capabilities within marketing or digital analytics platforms
Proficiency with testing or incrementality platforms
Proficiency with ad platforms(broadly from Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, Meta Ads, Reddit with required experience in Campaign Manager 360) and digital analytics (Google Analytics or similar)
BS degree, preferably in a quantitative subject that includes coursework in statistics, human computer interaction, data visualization, cognitive science, or computer science science/engineering
Familiarity with generative AI platforms and their contribution to data work
Preferred
Experience with Salesforce, Marketo, or other Email/CRM Marketing technologies is a plus
