Senior Engineering Associate
The City of Tucson is seeking a Senior Engineering Associate for its Department of Transportation & Mobility, responsible for supporting capital improvement projects. This role involves technical and administrative tasks such as permit processing, plan reviews, and inspection scheduling.

Responsibilities
Process right-of-way and construction permits, including data entry and fee collection
Review technical plans and applications for compliance with city standards
Schedule and track inspections for permitted work
Update GIS maps and databases to maintain accurate project records
Assist engineers and managers with research, reporting, and project tracking
Respond to inquiries from contractors, utilities, and the public regarding permits and projects
Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve conflicts or deficiencies
Perform other technical and administrative duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree
Two (2) years of relevant experience
A Valid and unrestricted Driver License with two (2) years of licensed driving is required
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
Two (2) years of engineering permitting or technical support experience
