Responsibilities
Take full ownership of the electrical design practice
Serve as the final technical authority for HV & EHV transmission and substation projects
Be responsible for the final design review and the professional stamping of project deliverables, ensuring that every design meets the highest standards of safety, utility requirements, and engineering integrity
Qualification
Required
Professional Engineer (PE) License in Electrical Engineering is required
Proven experience in taking ownership of design practices and performing final design reviews
Extensive technical background working with High Voltage (HV) or Extra-High Voltage (EHV) transmission or substation projects (138kV+)
4+ years of dedicated experience in the design and engineering of utility-scale electrical infrastructure
Demonstrated ability to review and professionally stamp engineering design packages
Strong technical knowledge of substation physical layouts, protection and control, and electrical system studies
Ability to work independently in a remote environment while providing technical mentorship to junior engineering staff
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with multi-disciplinary EPC teams
