Participates in evaluation sessions with external vendors, startups, and internal teams to drive outcomes-oriented probing of architectural designs, technical credentials, and applicability for use within existing systems and information architecture

Required

Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and minimum of 2 years of python coding experience
Hands-on practical experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability
Software development experience in one or more general-purpose programming languages: Python, Java, C, C or Go
Exposure/Experience with AI developer tools & tech include code assistants (GitHub Copilot, Tabnine, Cursor), AI-powered IDEs (Cursor, Replit), specialized agents (Devin, Cline for dev workflows), and platforms for ML/NLP (Hugging Face)
Exposure to automation and continuous delivery methods
Practical cloud native exposure
Proficient in all aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle
An understanding of agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security

Preferred

Knowledge of network engineering and firewall technology
