Responsibilities

Develop and implement scientific machine learning models that incorporate physics and biological constraints (e.g., locomotion, hemodynamic or cardiac dynamics) into operator state prediction models
Develop predictive models of operator states using multimodal physiological and behavioral data (e.g., EEG, ECG, motion), leveraging techniques in signal processing, machine learning, and time-series analysis
Analyze high-dimensional datasets from lab and field settings, using tools such as Python, MATLAB, or R for data cleaning, feature extraction, sensor fusion, and model validation
Engineer and optimize low-latency deployment pipelines for edge devices, ensuring real-time inference of high-dimensional physiological data
Evaluate signal fidelity and model robustness across wearable platforms to ensure laboratory-grade accuracy in real-world, "in-the-wild" deployments
Collaborate across disciplines and mentor junior researchers
Lead manuscript preparation and contribute to ongoing grant efforts
