Responsibilities

Actively develop and close new and existing business by identifying, prospecting, and closing advertising sales opportunities
Sell digital and print advertising solutions via emails, phone calls, and, where applicable, in-person visits
Become a subject matter expert, developing customized advertising strategies based on client needs
Track all sales activities, opportunities, and next steps in CRM
Execute sales strategies, implement marketing initiatives, and deliver effective presentations both virtually and in person
Meet customer expectations while utilizing our digital product suite
Achieve or exceed monthly sales goals

Required

Bachelor's Degree desired (Business, Communications, or Marketing a plus)
3+ years progressive sales experience with a proven track record of accomplishments
Highly skilled and proficient in sales; media sales experience is a plus
Strong communication and organizational skills
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, deadline-driven, and team-oriented environment
Relationship-focused with a consultative sales mindset and the confidence to overcome objections and close deals
Skilled at educating advertisers on digital media, marketing, and advertising strategies to effectively reach and engage audiences
In-depth knowledge and proficiency with research tools
Comfortable working independently and collaboratively
Ability to work in an office or hybrid environment
Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and ability to travel as needed
Ability to travel within the United States and Canada as needed
Strong desire to succeed in a fast-paced, evolving business environment
Effective relationship-building, customer service, communication, and negotiation skills
Strong business acumen across new and traditional media, digital initiatives, and social media platforms
Ability to influence decisions and communicate with clients and customers at all levels of an organization
Self-motivated and able to manage responsibilities independently

Prior media sales experience preferred with a proven record of success
