Responsibilities
Design and develop packaging for new and existing products
Select appropriate packaging materials based on product needs, cost, and sustainability objectives
Analysis of test data to ensure packaging performance
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align packaging with product and marketing requirements
Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards (e.g., ASTM, FDA, ISTA)
Continuously improve packaging designs to reduce costs and comply with regulatory changes
Travel to support trials and participate in customer engagements
Performs other similar and related duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Packaging Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related field
3+ years of experience in packaging design and development
Strong understanding of flexible packaging materials and manufacturing processes
Excellent project management, communication, and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time
Preferred
Experience with sustainable packaging
