Manager, Transfer Pricing

The Transfer Pricing Manager will manage the transfer pricing life cycle, oversee external tax advisor service delivery, and work with various business functions to ensure compliance with global tax rules.

Responsibilities
Help to prepare transfer pricing documentation for the US and key international markets, including assessing the arm's length nature of intercompany royalties and other transactions
Analyze and document tax planning projects involving transfer pricing, including intercompany pricing reviews, especially focused on intellectual property, intercompany financing, and intercompany services
Create and optimize complex economic models
Participate or lead functional interviews, learning about how and why McDonald’s is so successful and applying that knowledge in a variety of reports and analyses
Gather and analyze intercompany financial data, prepare and review presentations and documentation reports, and coordinate requests from McDonald’s markets around the world and with external service providers
Assist with the responses to global tax audits that involve transfer pricing, including collecting necessary data and responding to information requests from tax authorities
Prepare calculations and documentation related to transfer pricing in support of tax accounting requirements
Partner with and build positive relationships across the business, the finance organization and the different functional teams within the Tax Dept
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or Accounting
6+ years of relevant Transfer Pricing experience in either a public accounting or corporate setting
Complex analytical, strong problem-solving skills, and economic modeling experience with the ability and desire to work in a fast-paced environment while handling multiple priorities and tight deadlines
The ability to rethink complex processes and work with a team in a continuous improvement environment
Strong business and financial acumen and strong communication and writing skills
Excellent interpersonal skills, curious mind set, confident, independent and logical problem solver
Preferred
Experience with valuations and cost sharing a plus
Experience with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, CoPilot, Outlook. Alteryx, Microsoft PowerBI, Tableau and other automation tools is a strong plus
