Taurus Search is partnered with a global fund services firm looking to hire an experienced Associate Director to support private equity and real asset clients. This role combines client oversight, technical accounting review, and team leadership.

Responsibilities

Oversee a portfolio of private equity and real estate funds, ensuring accurate accounting and investor reporting

Lead and mentor a team responsible for investor onboarding, fund operations, and financial close processes

Review fund, investment, and investor-level activity, including capital movements and allocations

Ensure compliance with fund governing documents, fee structures, and waterfall mechanics

Act as a technical accounting resource with deep knowledge of U.S. GAAP

Review financial statements, capital account reporting, and investor communications

Partner with external auditors throughout annual audit cycles

Serve as a primary client contact for ongoing requests and issue resolution

Contribute to process improvements, technology initiatives, and operational efficiencies

Oversee billing, collections, and recoverability related to assigned client accounts
