Responsibilities

Prepares underwriting submissions, making recommendations and/or decisions within established authority limits

Participates in the producer management process which may include, but is not limited to, premium collections

Prepares and participates in proposals to producers and/or accounts negotiating terms and conditions

Prepares and participates in marketing activities for business development and relationship building

Assists with gathering and analyzing information, applies appropriate underwriting techniques necessary to make an accurate evaluation of risk acceptability

May ensure credit quality of accounts managed while maintaining and updating underwriting files
