Responsibilities
Create, revise, and maintain piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs) for process systems and equipment configurations
Ensure P&IDs accurately reflect piping, valves, instrumentation, interlocks, and system boundaries
Develop P&IDs for new equipment setups and update existing drawings to reflect process or configuration changes
Incorporate redlines, as-built conditions, and feedback from engineering and operations teams
Provide drafting support for process flow diagrams (PFDs) as required
Produce and update related mechanical drawings such as equipment layouts, general arrangement drawings, and system schematics
Support engineering teams by translating conceptual designs into clear, usable drawings
Support safety analyses and reviews by ensuring drawings clearly represent system configurations, controls, and safeguards
Participate in drawing reviews related to operability, safety, and system readiness
Assist engineers by identifying inconsistencies, missing information, or documentation gaps
Develop drawings for systems involving furnaces, thermal processing equipment, gas delivery systems, liquid handling systems, and associated infrastructure
Coordinate with engineers and operators to understand equipment layouts and process intent
Participate in walkdowns or equipment reviews as needed to verify field conditions
Maintain drawing files, revision history, and change documentation in accordance with internal standards
