Responsibilities
Design, develop, test, prepare, and deliver accurate reports and dashboards to support business needs and decision-making
Collaborate with various teams, including administration, marketing, sales, operations, compliance, contracts, and finance
Maintain routine reports and manage ad hoc report requests
Gather and interpret data from various sources and compile it into a comprehensible report
Present findings through clear and engaging presentations. Ensure data integrity and accuracy
Utilize NYSID’s accounting software as a source of both sales reports and data for exportation
Act as liaison between outside technology consultants and NYSID, as needed, for database development
Other duties as assigned

Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Computer Science, or related area of study
Minimum of 5 years of work experience in data analysis, reporting, or business intelligence
Strong verbal and written communication (verbal and written) skills
Strong interpersonal and organizational skills with the ability to present complex data in a clear manner
Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
Problem-solving abilities to identify and rectify data inconsistencies or inaccuracies
Proficiency with NetSuite, Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Excel), SharePoint, and Cubes
Preferred
Knowledge of and experience in working with state/local governments is helpful
