Responsibilities

Perform NGS workflows including sample prep, nucleic acid extraction, library preparation, PCR, and sequencing
Execute system integration, verification, and validation testing
Analyze experimental data and document results, SOPs, and reports
Troubleshoot sequencing instruments and support prototype hardware testing
Support customers by monitoring runs, documenting issues, and assisting with defect resolution
Collaborate with multidisciplinary R&D teams to improve platform performance

Required

BS/MS/PhD in Science, Engineering, or related field
1–5+ years of hands-on laboratory experience
Experience with DNA sequencing workflows and PCR
Familiarity with data analysis tools (Python, MATLAB, Git, or similar)
Strong documentation, communication, and teamwork skills

Preferred

3+ years of hands-on NGS experience
Experience with prototype instruments, system testing, and troubleshooting
Knowledge of molecular biology, NGS workflows, and experimental design (DoE)
Background in biotech or medical device development
