Sales Analyst

B&G Foods Inc. is looking for a Sales Analyst to join their team. The role involves providing analytical and sales support, developing reporting systems to monitor sales metrics, and delivering actionable insights to account managers.

Responsibilities

Conduct Data Analysis
Utilize Nielsen, Numerator, and Scintilla to analyze sales performance, report observations, and provide insightful commentary on consumption, volumes, and bridges
Prepare and present regular and ad-hoc reports on sales performance and KPIs to internal and external teams
Prepare Line Review Materials
Assist the National Account Manager in creating line review presentations, with analysis and consumer insights while collaborating with HQ Business Units and the CPFR team
Post-Modular Reset Analysis
Perform post-analysis on modular resets to determine brand share impact and identify improvement opportunities
Monitor Competitive Activity
Track and evaluate competitive activity for assigned brands and provide monthly Beats report updates
Collaborative Forecasting
Work with the National Account Manager and CPFR team to create SKU-level forecasts, aligning production and sales forecasting
Maintain Product Databases
Ensure all item-level product databases are accurate and up-to-date for easy accessibility
Trade Spend Reporting
Provide ongoing trade spend reports to confirm alignment with corporate objectives
Support Supply Chain and Inventory Management
Assist the supply chain and sales teams in improving forecasting accuracy and inventory management processes

Required

At least 2 years of relevant experience required
A Bachelor's Degree is required
Possesses excellent decision-making skills

Must have excellent time management and organizational skills
Must have strong project management capabilities
