Reliability Engineer

Responsibilities

Serve as a subject matter expert on equipment failures, repair techniques, and root cause investigations
Provide technical guidance on troubleshooting, repairs, and equipment performance relative to service conditions
Develop and support maintenance operating discipline and reliability standards
Ensure engineering input is included in work requests, repairs, and deviations for critical equipment
Document repair techniques, training materials, and equipment-specific best practices
Support preventive maintenance efforts, including spare parts reviews
Provide engineering input for work packages, work orders, and turnaround planning
Analyze equipment reliability, performance data, and maintenance spending to identify improvement opportunities
Support maintenance budgeting aligned with reliability and maintenance strategy
Participate in Management of Change (MOC) activities related to reliability improvements
Ensure compliance with EH&S requirements, safe work practices, and environmental standards
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve long-term cost of ownership and asset performance

Required

Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, Civil, Materials/Metallurgical, or related)
Minimum of 3+ years of experience in maintenance, reliability, engineering, manufacturing, or a related field
Strong planning, organization, and prioritization skills
Ability to solve complex technical and equipment-related problems
Strong analytical and troubleshooting capabilities
