Senior Finance Manager

Nesco Resource, LLC is seeking a Senior Finance Manager to provide comprehensive accounting and finance services and oversee key processes in support of organizational objectives. Responsibilities

Lead and provide strategic direction in the core areas of financial accounting, internal controls, statutory reporting, and regulatory compliance
Identify and communicate opportunities to maximize customer value; collaborate with leadership in planning, measuring, and reporting on performance of critical business areas and identification of opportunities to enhance profitability through pricing strategies or operational efficiency
Collaborate closely with accounting, finance, and business partners to deliver thought leadership on technical accounting matters pertaining to both current and prospective business activities
Develop and prepare technical accounting position papers and related deliverables in support of recurring technical analyses, implementation of new accounting standards/policies, and complex business transactions
Communicate, maintain, and enforce adherence to the organization's accounting policies and procedures to ensure timely, accurate, complete, and consistent financial reporting in compliance with applicable regulations and standards
Provide direction and support to the organization's international finance teams, as well as department leaders and executive leadership on financial reporting matters
Collaborate with global finance partners and external auditors to ensure statutory financial reports are completed on schedule and in compliance with relevant accounting and regulatory frameworks
Partner with internal and external stakeholders to drive business growth; oversee analysis in designated areas and prepare monthly results for leadership review. Collaborate with other departments on business issues that impact financial forecasts
Oversee monthly close process for designated areas and business segments, including account reconciliation and review of monthly financial reporting packages in compliance with organizational accounting policies and procedures
Support internal and external auditors during quarterly reviews and annual audits
Manage and administer business systems and procedures; ensure validation of new procedures' effectiveness, and maintain Sarbanes-Oxley process documentation for changes affecting internal controls
Take a leadership role in identifying and supporting continuous improvement initiatives while utilizing Continuous Improvement methodologies and tools
Lead team efforts on enterprise-wide initiatives to collaboratively achieve business objectives and implement standardized practices throughout the organization

Required

Four-year degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related discipline
Extensive professional experience (10+ years) in accounting, finance, or treasury functions
Proven track record of leading and managing teams (3+ years minimum)
Willingness to travel domestically as needed

Preferred

History of successfully guiding teams through complex challenges in dynamic business environments
Background in multi-entity financial consolidation and reporting
Strong capability to juggle competing priorities and deliverables
Deep understanding of generally accepted accounting principles and international financial reporting standards
Superior communication abilities, both written and oral
Comfort with periodic international travel
Professional accounting certification (CPA or equivalent), currently active
