Responsibilities

Drive the discovery and design of next-generation antibody-based therapeutics
Spearhead initiatives to develop and implement cutting-edge platforms that accelerate antibody discovery and engineering workflows
Bridge the gap between innovative protein design and translational drug development
Balance 'at-the-bench' laboratory experimentation and the strategic analysis of high-dimensional datasets to provide actionable insights that shape project trajectories

Qualification

Molecular biology techniquesProtein design/engineeringProtein biochemistryComputational methodsData scienceCommunicationInterpersonal skillsProblem-solvingTeam collaboration

Required

You have a Ph.D. in Biochemistry, Bioengineering, Biophysics, Molecular and Cell Biology, Structural Biology, Chemical Biology, or related disciplines or a BS/MS degree with 8+ years of industry research experience
Expertise in molecular biology techniques as well as protein design/engineering and protein biochemistry are essential
Demonstrated ability and desire to learn new techniques and problem-solve
This position requires working effectively within multidisciplinary teams from our Research and Development organizations
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential for success in this role
Sustained record of productivity and innovation in the form of publications or patents

Preferred

Proficiency in computational methods and data science for protein design is a plus
Hands-on experience with yeast, phage, or mammalian display platforms is a plus
