Responsibilities

Responsible for assuring manufacturing process is running per procedure or conducting engineering tests

Monitors manufacturing process or performs failure analysis for engineering or quality

Takes measurements for process control or gathers measurement data for engineering

Re-writes documentation to update new practices or writes and prepares reports for engineering or quality

Responds to data on process control charts or maintains material movement spreadsheets and reports results

Runs tests through production process line or assists process engineer with evaluating data

Responsible for all processes within manufacturing and/or support the efforts of engineers

Perform process control activities such as measuring product or performing tests

Follow all safety measures when handling chemicals and hazardous waste with regard to use, mixing and disposing chemicals

Familiar with PC applications

Associate's Degree (or in final stages of completion) in Engineering, Chemistry, or Manufacturing; or equivalent experience required

Strong math skills, especially statistics

Technicians will undergo chemical handling training prior to the start of performing these duties and will actively participate in ongoing hazardous waste and chemical handling training
